How do I install this CD?

I need to install Sony Ericsson's PC-Suite on my MacBook OS X. The CD is in and the icon is up on the desktop, but every time I click it a new window pops-up with folders including: Applications, CDBrowser, Drivers, and PCSuite. I've clicked on every single folder and nothing I do makes the program actually install.

I've read the instruction manual, but it doesn't have anything on how to actually install it.

Please help, I'm a new Mac user and I have no idea how to work this.

The key here is PC Suite.

This means that the CD you have is for PC Only and will not work on OSX.

You will find that many programs are like this.

Your only saving grace is check there site and see if they offer a Mac version

PC Suite is made for a computer running Windows, it will not work on a Mac.

Mac's iSync seems to work well for many phones, see if yours is compatible here:

Are you sure there is an OS X version of the software on the CD?  It kind of sounds like you are trying to install Windows software on your computer.  Does the manual have an OS X logo on it anywhere?

EDIT: If you can find an OS X version of the program though, you can just drag and drop it into your Applications folder.  If it comes in a .DMG image, you can double-click the image to mount it, and then copy the program into your Applications folder.
