Is it possible for me to join a Church in Edinburgh? I love the wonderful people of Scotland and I want to get to know them and be accepted by them? What should I do? Would it be ok for me to tell a Scottish person how much I love and respect their culture, heritage and contribution to this world. I love Scotland and Scottish people.

  1. I don't think Churches do correspondance courses. You might have to actually live in the UK to join a local church as you have to turn up in person, not communicate by Email.

  2. Edinburgh is pretty cosmopolitan and you have a wide range of churches and religions . Based on your beliefs select the one closest to where you live Newspapers such as the Evening News list service details - I would just go along nd introduce yourself .

  3. You will be welcome in a church of your choice . they normally have the times shown outside of their services. Go along Introduce your self  to the Vicar {Priest] Minister  after the service and tell him you would like to attend regulary and he may be able to give you the news letter of other activities they hold there. You don't actually join a church you have the freedom of saying you belong to a particular church. and there is nothing stopping you attending other services at different churches to see which one you feel more comfortable with.
