If I'm understanding the question, you want to use the email address from your Outlook Express to join a group...

First, click the 'join' button.  It will take you to a page which will give you the option of what Yahoo ID you want to use and what email address.  

There is an option to add another email address, so click that link and just add the one you're using in Outlook Express.  You'll be sent an email with a link to verify the address, but it is self-explanatory and very easy.
