  1. You want to open a lawsuit because the engine in your crappy crappy Dodge thats close to 10 years old died? ROFLMAO! Good luck buddy!

  2. You had better be prepaired to show "EVERY" single preventitive maintinance reciept ( oil changes, transmission services, and radiator flushes). The problem is that the oil pump sits really close to the bottom of the oil pan and it sucks up sludge, clogs the screen, and sometimes the pump. Therefor your internal engine lacks the correct oil pressure and oil quantity. So I guess I'm trying to say you had better make sure there is no sludge in the pan due to lack of preventitive maintinance and be able to prove your oil change routine. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

  3. ok first off, the car is 10 years old and most likely around 150,000-200,000 miles. i work at a chrysler, dodge, jeep dealer and i see this all the time. the engine blows up and they think chrysler should pay for it cuz they see the clubs on the web and or hear about the 2.7L or whatever. the thing is though lets say u call chrysler and tell them u think they should pay. well they will send the district manger to look at the car. but before he even comes hes going to ask if u have oil change receipts. if u dont then u can kick that idea out the door. so really what iam saying is before u go through all the trouble, u better have the receipts and your really not going to get anywhere with a lawsuit cuz  everyone that trys to fight it at my dealer they never win and end up paying for it anyway. only one case at my work where the guy had oil change receipts and called chrysler to b***h they payed for half the labor. but not the engine.

You are not alone, many people have tried to get Chrysler to pay up, but remember that Diamler/ Chrysler adopted MB practice of turning a cold shoulder to there customers, they did the same thing to there employees, after the takeover.

ADD   Most people that service there vehicles with synthetic oils never had probems, even some that serviced regularly with conventional oil suffered engine failures due to ingesting  debris or loss of oil pressure, that tells me that the engine has some defect, that is not service related, that is a design flaw.

Listen to the dealer tech talk about how customers are upset with Chrysler!

From one of HIS own answers to another person on this site!!

That says it all, If Chrysler had provided a quality product and correct service requirements, along with a cooling system that actually worked well enough to prevent a HIGH temperature environment , (all Chrysler's 90's LH/LHS suffered from overly high engine and trans temperatures) due to POOR air flow, then maybe there would not be lots of people joining class action lawsuits. They will never willingly do anything for free.

I too worked for Chrysler , and worked the warranty games, making deals with "heat" customers , who would be somewhat appeased by factory "help" during a failure, mostly with the 41TE and 42LE transaxles, they to "didn't have any problems"!!! HA HA HA HA
