  1. Do the following activities: You can break them up into teams according to age and have one team doing one activity while the other team is doing a different activity

    Watch a movie

    Play a game

    Do a craft project

Make something like pizza - let everyone make their own

Let them decorate their own cupcakes

Remember that some of the smaller kids will have a shorter attention span

    Good luck!

  2. Ask the eight and nine years olds to help be little parents to their partner. Have crafts for them to do like bead necklaces, tiaras/crowns, make your own pizza, make a wand pencil ribbon foam papercut out stars and glue. Just have fun.

  3. first of all i just want to say Good Luck

Well i think that you should ask the kids what the want to do ?

Maybe you could ask them is there any movies they want  to see and go to blockbuster and get the movie to keep them busy ! play games and go outside and let them run around !

  4. get the older of the kids involved in group activities and games. they should, for the most part, entertain themselves.give the younger kids plenty of toys and put in a movie. i've found that little einsteins, clifford, and dora are all big hits. dont forget to keep lots of snacks and drinks on hand.

  5. Duct tape and about a cup of Benydryl for each child disguised as Kool Aid and I think your set!!

  6. Ask for help!!  If you are outdoors, 2 sprinklers.  One for the big kids, one for the little kids.  Have movies, arts and crafts, outdoor games, board games, etc!!

  7. first get a friend to help and you two will split the fee. then have them play in seperate areas and do the best you can by playing sing a longs, puzzles, blocks, hide and seek and london bridges. have fun and good luck!

  8. You could play a few movies for the older kids. For the younger kids, they could play with Lego's, action figures, or Barbie dolls. For the really little kids, toys and dolls they cannot swallow or get hurt from. You could have them play games such as a scavenger hunt.

  9. Ok, most kids like kids shows on TV. You can also go to a dollar store and pick up some crayons and paper and coloring books, for artistic activities that are not too messy, and all you'd need to do is make sure crayons are used on the paper only. Set up chairs and a cd with kids songs, you can do something simple like musical chairs for the middle aged kids. These days kids are used to just the radio for that too. I mean, think of the types of games and activities you would like to do at that age, and then cross off the ones that would require too much adult supervision for someone with 17 kids. How about something simple like drawing a dart board with point numbers, get kids stickers at the dollar store and make up a generic blindfold game that can still be fun for the bulk of the age group. You won't be able to please every kid, but those who don't wish to participate in the games you selected can sit and color / art activity / or watch cartoons on TV. With parties kids come and go at a variety of times usually, so overall, it shouldn't be too bad. Best of wishes to ya! HYope I was of help with some ideas even if my answer don't get picks as 'best'. I babysit like 6 kids at a time on some days and I know how panicy even that can be. lol.
