How do I keep Yahoo search from recording past searched Items on my mac.?

Question

For example if I type in "Cats" anything that I searched for prior to that, that begins with "C" gets pulled up (in the extended search box).

For mozilla firefox you go to tools clear pirvate data only check forms if u want to delete yahoo histroy only or just press Ctrl + Shift + del

For Internet explorer 5 or later go to tools internet options ,then on the privacy tab click delete history and put only forms
