Question:

How do I keep a web page centered that I am making with Microsoft Word?

I wanted to have the web page be only a certain width, so the contents will not shift, and I want it to center itself also.

I am able to get a cell to center, but than I do not have that much control over it.

I may have to settle for a white back ground as text boxes leave a white box around inserted text and pictures.

Any suggestions?

  1. umm ,, dont use word to make an HTML page for starters.

    If you must use a text type to do the actuall HTML work ( school or class )  use NOTEPAD

    just use html tags to create your form width

    or if you want to go simpler

    <center>

    <table> ..... . .. . .. .

    </table>

    </center>

  2. <CENTER> center <CENTER>This will center your contents</CENTER> This will center your contents

    Please keep the enclosed website in your favorites. It is a great source for looking up information and codes for your website.

  3. Word is the WORST WYSIWYG HTML editor.  Please use something else.

    Its hard to try to help you without being able to see the HTML code.  Word puts so many goofy tags in that the browser is likely having a difficult time understanding what you want it to do.  If you post a link to the page I will try to help you fix it.
