How do I keep bugs from eating the leaves of flowering plants?

Is there a natural way to keep bugs from eating yard flowering plants? The leaves are have holes all through them and at night they are covered with different types of brown bugs.

  1. Be careful when using dish soap..alot fail to mention that any ultra or concentrated soap can literaly fry your plants..if you must use soap use a mild non concentrated one such as the old time mild ivory dishsoap..not just any dish soap is good to use...Actully I like to use pyrithrum based insecticides that are made from chrysinthiums..here is some info on this

  2. Mix a bit of dish soap ( just a couple of squirts with a quart of water. Add some jalapeno or chile peppers (chopped up) and use it in a spray bottle. It's as good a natural bug repellent as you will find.
