I have a vintage Tamiya Blackfoot 1/10 scale RC monster truck I have restored and every time It takes a medium size jolt it tears the gears out of the steering servo. I have tried several types of servo savers but to no avail, (the servo savers where a bit on the old side) Do any RC enthusiasts have any advice? please try to be a little detailed in your answer. Thanks!

  1. try  using aluminum servos if you can find some for your vintage car. if you cant, try oiling them

  2. PARK IT

  3. well i dont know what to tell you my man umm ive had servos break like that before even with servo savers id say if you can try to find a newer saver and see if anything newer will work or if you still have the older ones oil them up good and adjust the tension spring to be loose other then that i dont know what to tell you the other guy says park it whats the point of having a fun RC car
