How do I keep in step when I'm marching in band?

I know, another band question, but I just can't keep in step! I listen for the bass drum, but I can't do it even with someone counting off for me! Please help!

  1. Try listening to music at home and find the beat and count to it. All you need to be able to do is find the rhythm.
