I learned that it is critical to keep it humid and between 72-80 degrees F in my hermit crabs tank. My room only has a window unit and it is between 80-85 F when the unit is off. I want to keep them alive for a very long time because I got them on a vacation to Padre Island. (They are not tropical, they came from a pet store.)

  1. heating lamp for heat.  every once and a while spray water in it.  Or a fountain as long as it is misty.

  2. spray them a few times a day with water and also put a bowl or little pool in for them and the water will evaporate in the tank and keep it humid

DONT FORGET TO CLEAN THE WATER EVERY WEEK OR SO

  3. Do you have a spray bottle? if so good. You should spray their tank every time it gets dry to keep the tank nice and cool for your little hermits. If the tank gets too hot they will die a slow death, dont let this happen!
