I found mouse p**p in my rabbit's food dish. That tells me that mice are getting in and eating her leftover food. How do I keep them away? It's only in the food dish.

It's not just small rabbit p**p. I know this because the dish is too small and too high up for a rabbit to sit and p**p in it. Also, I watched a show on Discovery Channel about pest elimination, and they showed what mouse p**p looked like.

  1. lift the cage off the ground w/ some bricks, or get another cage and bring him inside

  2. wow u need to get someone in to get rid, if the rabbit eats it on accident it would kill him!

    Good luck, get pest control!

  3. first i dont know if the rabbit stays in a cage, and if the mice are getting in the cage then i would recommend buying small wiring to put around the outside of the cage so that the mice can not fit through the cage bars. If your rabbit stays in the house this is difficult because soem people would say to get a mouse poison ,but they dont think, because it can also be very harmful to your bunny. One way and the only i can think of is to give your rabbit smaller amounts of food. If you feed her once a day but fill up her bowl, then you should start feeding her twice a day but only enough for her to eat at that moment. That way there wont be any leftover food for the mice to eat which will make them stop coming because they have no insentive.

-hope i have helped you out :)

  4. Call an exterminator to take care of the mouse problem.

  5. buy a cat
