How do I keep my Agave cacti plant (century cacti) from growing too big. I want to keep it a small size.?

I heard that feeding it Rum will stunt the growth. I have a small back porch and need room for other plants.

  1. if you planted it in the ground, the only way is to starve it with sunlight, water and nutrients, but there's a risk it will die without sunlight because these are desert plants. The best solution is to plant it in a small pot. Think bonsai.


  2. Less water. Humans need it more!
