How do I keep my dog from humping stranger's dogs?

my dog has this humping problem.

It soo embarrassing. I take him to dog park and all he wants to do is hump any dog, any gender, at any time. The dog's owners get angry and I always have to walk over to the humping in action and pull him off. He doesnt stop. He'll keep repeating It until the other dogs lie down on the ground so he can't hump them. Seriously, I'm not going to take him to dog park anymore if this doesn't stop. Ive tried yelling at him & pulling him off, but nothing seems to work. Real advice from some dog owners would be appreciated. thanks :)

Dominance trait.  Even females are known to hump if they are Alphas and are trying to dominate the other.

Yeah..... I know what you are saying... It's a big humpfest at my house too....

Emma... our 15 pound Boston Terrier is ALWAYS humping Duke... or 60 pound bullmastiff puppy.... Duke is always humping Daisy's pink bed the is in her kennel....

And poor our poor Daisy is an 8 pound JRT who tries to stay out of it all.

Just train him not to. Let him know that it is unacceptable behavior. If that doesn't work, just quit taking him to the park.

Do what you have thought about and not take your dog to the park anymore, and limit your dog to your house.

Is he neutered? Talk to the Vet.

It sounds like he needs to be fixed...

you could also get him a large stuffed animal to "hump"
