  1. A stray cat does not technically belong to anybody so you cannot really put the blame on your neighbour!

All I would suggest it placing a sheet over the top so even if they do sit on it there would be minimal or no damage.

The only other thing you can do is call a local rescue charity, they may be able to TNR if they have no been already, or maybe locate them to an alternative area.

If these are your neighbours cats and not strays then you could have a chat with your neighbour but I'm afraid apart from a sheet there are only repellent sprays but I doubt you would want that on your car!

    Hope you get it sorted.

  2. That sucks!

They probably like it because it is warm compared to other places it could sleep.  The only thing I can think of is to purchase a car cover and place it over your car, but that is very annoying to have to do every time you use the car.

Maybe you could borrow a friends large dog and get them to bark and scare the cats away.  After doing this a few times, the cats might not be bothered with coming back.

  3. Ive heard cats don't like oange peels. So you could sprinkle those around your car

Otherwise, there's this product that emits a low frequency sound that cats don't like. I've heard kids and young teens can hear it as wlel. That's probably your best bet

    Good luck!
