Actually, you are confused, little girl.  All unwanted visitors never show up in your dreams, just your nightmares.  LOL

well, some times i have really good dreams one night, then the night after i try really hard to get the dream back. so i think about it a ton right before i go to bed. THIS DOES NOT WORK! i end up dreaming a total opposite thing, so i suggest that you think  about him really hard and dont leave any quetsions about him unanswered in your mind. hopefully you will have a different dream with different people.
