Remodeling a house with two weeks to trim two rooms, skim coat and paint a kitchen, fix a few places in the yard where grass has burnt up, three cars to work on, and so tired from working at home that I am falling behind at work. How do you balance it all?

  1. Good luck.

I've been working for 4 months on completely gutting a house. Pretty much everything had to be replaced, so actually, 4 months is pretty good considering I have done everything myself. Now we just ordered carpet, so I have to paint trim, clean everything up, paint 4 rooms, finish drywalling a room, paint ceilings, install lighting, outlets, switches, appliances, run a gas line, and a million other things... all in three weeks so that it's done before the carpet gets here! Yikes! I know exactly how you feel, and I don't really know what to tell you, other than good luck, and if you find an easy way to balance it all, please let me know. Haha 8)

  2. it sounds like you have begun with too many things, do one thing a the time completely, and then move to the next one.

I believe that you are overwhelmed by all of it ,so do things step by step, beginning with what needs to be done first and go from there.

  3. Just keep trying--is the only thing I know.  Good Luck.  Is there anyone to help you????

  4. Stop wasting time on Yahoo answers and get with it!  If you have time to complain, your not that busy.
