How do I keep the extended network text visible while using an extended network banner?

I like a lot of pre-made myspace layouts but they always come with extended network banners that cover your status. How can I keep the banner but still have my status of..."Blank is in your extended network" under it or something?

You should see something in the code that looks like this.

.blacktext12 {display:none;}

or something that removes/hides the blacktext12 span class, which is what the status is composed of.  Just remove that.

You can also use this - to get your own image as the extended network background, and there is an option on it to KEEP the status.
