How do I keep track of inventory (raw material, work in progress and finished goods) in tally

It's boring but it's part of owning a business.  Just do it manually.  You will surprise yourself at how fast you can do an inventory.  

If you later buy a bar-code reader, it will go faster but then everything has to have a code and that's a pain. /
