How do I kill cockroaches, and then make sure that no cockroaches enter my house again?

Call in an exterminator, and keep your place clean and watch everything that comes into your home from grocery bags to newspapers.

theres a product on the market thats called ROACH PRUF.  it will kill roaches and they also carry it back to their nest because it sticks to their legs. it is great.  read instructions for use around children and pets.

To kill any bugs, use any shoes.

To keep a clean, bug free environment, clean your house regularly.  If you see a sudden increase in their numbers, there might be a dead bird, rat, racoon in your house somewhere.  You probably want to call one of those animal control people to take the dead animals out and block the entrance.
