Question:

How do I kill flies?

I've got a few flies in my room because someone left the door open and they came from the kitchen. I can't kill some of them because there too quick. They bug me all night. So besides the obvious of a fly swatter or something, is there a smell that repulses them?

  1. Don't you have a spray?

    It works well.

Try using Raid. I think they have a can for flies.

    If not try using cockroaches.

    It should work as well.

  2. eat them.

  3. fly strips its only $1.00 for a pack of 4 they help out alot.

  4. Fly love just about any smell, but they do not like smoke, but we don't want you burning down anything. So try bug spray, or fly paper.

  5. first you must become one with the fly this is obtained by meditating for 4 days only stoping to eat or go to the bathroom then once you are one with the fly you should have no issue killing it unless it has become your new best friend then there may be some issues there but anyways after you kill the fly you must take it outside and dig a little grave and bury it so the fly wont haunt you

  6. i feel sorry 4 the bad answers they gave u so...

what i do is concentrate and open my hand and try catching it but don't follow it with your hands go the opposite way when u catch it u can easily kill...

    i hope it helps

  7. go to walmart and buy a can of raid or hot shot "flying insect killer". it is specially formulated for flies and works incredibly well. just go through the house spraying into the air of each room. it is fast and deadly.

  8. Citronella candles....Just swat them though. Make a game out of it.

  9. wow why cant you buy a d**n fly swatter??

  10. nah, just go to the shop and buy spray for about £1.70

and just wait about 5 mins and they will all be dead

  11. Flies cannot stand farts, sneak up on them and f**t.  It messes with their senses and clouds their compound eyes.  They should be disoriented enough for you to swat them.

  12. well one time i chased a fly( i think it was a horse fly) around spraying it with windex 2 wet it wings then it was forced to land and i sprayed it again with a stronger toxin (ex. pledge)

  13. Mix about one ounce of orange oil and one ounce of vanilla extract to 8 ounces of water. Break open some capsules of the odorless garlic or kyolic which you find in the drug stores or grocery vitamin sections. Add this to the mix. Shake well. It is pleasant and greaseless and works well against flying bugs. You can put this mixture in a spray bottle for quick and easy application.

  14. sticky paper

  15. Hmm... besides fly swatter?

There's this sort of like fly tape. It's a sticky tape that attracts flies. The flies go towards  the tape, be stuck, and die. Just hang the tape pack around your room. I'm sorry I don't know what it's called but my friend's mom uses it in their garage.

Maybe you can ask the workers at a local store for some recommendations/the actual product.

  16. Citronella.

A draft will stop them landing and stinging.

  17. Here's a few things I picked up on Eartheasy.com that are working for me:

Place satchels of one or a combination of the following: mint, basil, cloves, bay leaves around house and at points of entry

A few drops of Eucalyptus oil on a cloth in problem areas

I've also heard that a Ziploc filled 1/2 way with water works. I'm trying that too but not sure how it works.

  18. killing flies is not so easy instead of killing them try to make place clean flies will never approach there

  19. Give em a good old spray of anti perspirant (lynx is most effective) then set em of fire little balls of fire floating :P

  20. bee trap

  21. fly swatter

  22. beat them to death with a fly swatter or something, or leave the door open and try hitting them towards it so they can get out. usually they end up dying after spending too long in a house, though. and there's not any smell that repulses a fly, but there's a fly-repellent for homes called Repel-X and it smells good too.

  23. fly paper works super well

  24. bug spray and google listerine bug repellent works

  25. Deodorant and then fire can help, and those sticky fly hanging things help.

  26. get some spray from a home store of super market. when they fly into it they die! its good stuff!! ;D

  27. Very carefully.

  28. shoe, rolled up news paper, fly swatter ???

  29. Lemon Grass supposedly.  I would actually suggest a trap (they have various kinds depending on the type of fly).  Also hair spray will work as it coats their wings and then you can smash them!  Or get a cat, they like to hunt them down (course then they have to be mouse flavored flies, but who knows you might get lucky!)

  30. Get a spray or something.

    Hope this helps

  31. Get a fly trap that you hang up and when they land on it they stick there forever . I had like 10 flies in my home thanks to the kids leaving the door open and this took care of the problem in 3 days .
