How do I kno what pain reliever to take - acetophenamin or ibuprofen?

Most commonly, acetophenamin is tylenol and ibuprofen is advil.

  1. In the most simplistic terms, tylenol is a lovely medication for headache & fever (an antipyretic) whilst NSAIDs like ibuprofen are lovely for inflammatory processes outside the cranial vault e.g. musculoskeletal pain and so forth.

    The critical thing is to know is if you have underlying contraindication to either one.


  2. pesonally I take advil, b/c tylenol does nothing for me. Generally tylenol is used as a headache medicine, while advil is an anti-inflamitory used for most muscle, joint, and body pain.
