  1. Tiredness is the first sign.

If you are a menstruating female, that is another sign.

Do you have any other diseases such as diabetes or kidney failure?  Those are other signs.

The ONLY way to tell for sure is to have the doctor to the necessary blood tests.

  2. Visit this site for symptoms and then visit your doctor for a blood test:

  3. okay i am and i know what to look for.

[a] if you feel really tired like all the time. +

[b] you take REAL gold like a cross or something and you draw a line on a visible part of your body and if you are a black line will show up.

    those are two MAJOR signs.

  4. In general, anemia causes extreme fatigue, pale skin, weakness, shortness of breath, headache, lightheadedness, and often cold hands and feet.

Simple blood test at the doctors will tell you.  If you can't afford to go to the doctor, they test your blood for anemia before you donate blood so that'd be a "free" way to know.

  5. I always get really dizzy, feel like I'm going to pass out, and I have no energy, really exhausted, and can't breath easy.  So my doctor prescribed an iron supplement.  It's a pain to take because you need an empty stomach, and it's better to take with grapefruit, pineapple, acidic juices for absorption, but don't take with any dairy.  Also step up your spinach, fresh fruits, etc . . .it will help.  You'll notice the difference right away when you are getting enough iron.
