How do I know if I have Digital Cable from Comcast?

I have one of those Comcast Cable boxes does that mean I have Digital Cable? I can access On-Demand and stuff like that. I had Insight before, but since Insight was bought by Comcast I have no idea what I have anymore.

i have direct TV satellite and that's digital so your cable is too probably

If you use there box it is digital cable but not HDTV that is extra.

Check your monthly bill. It should say what service you have.

Otherwise, if you have an analog TV, hook up the coax cable directly to the TV. If you get any channels at all, you have analog cable.

To be sure do this.

Plug the cable input into the TV set without the box. See what channels you get.

Then Plug in the box and see what channels you get.

Unless you have a digital TV set or subscribe to premium analog channels, the difference will be digital channels.  

Comcast provides digital cable on the same line as your analog TV channels.
