How do I know if I have a built-in fax modem on my computer?

I went to Windows Fax and Scan to check but the setup wizard didn't show up. Then I tried to send a fax through but it doesn't seem to go through...it just keeps saying "Review Fax Status: Ready to send or receive a fax"

If you have WindowsXP, right-click on My Computer and select Properties, then click on the Hardware tab and then click Device Manager.

Look for "MODEMS" (between Mice and Monitors ususally).
