How do I know if I should buy a ladies set of golf clubs or a junior set?

If your under 5 feet then you could perhaps look into junior clubs. Anything above you will need to stick to womens. If it's the driver thats seemingly large then grab any club from the 7 to p-wedge and see how that feels. You should notice a big difference from the driver. P.s. do not get them shortened  because that will stiffen the shaft and you will lose the whole purpose of having ladies clubs which are made with a considerable amount of flex.  Good luck

Go and have a talk with the golf pro at your local golf club. They will advise you what is best and tell you how you can alter the size if needed.
