How do I know if a digital camera takes video/audio? When a camera lists its specs, where do I look?

  1. it should be somewhere around video capture or features. It'll even say i the description. If not, look at the camera if your at the store. If not look at the pics of it. If the  front of the camera has a small hole, then it's the mic. Depending to the digital camera, there should be a small camera image on the button/ turning wheel. Then somewhere on the side, back, top or back (where the screen is), somewhere near there. There should be a set of a few holes, those are the small speaker to hear during playback.


  2. Every camera company includes an owners manual that explains what their product will do. Most point and shoot cameras include audio and video as an extra feature. It should be in the cameras menu.
