How do I know if a guy will ever propose

I've been with this guy for almost three years now and we even have a kid together. He asked me once before after being together for 6 months and I said yes, but then we agreed that we weren't ready yet. I've hinted around that I'm ready and he's hinted around that he's ready, but it's been almost a year and nothing...how much longer should I wait?

Tell him that you feel you're wasting your time and that you want to see other people. You will get a ring faster than you every imagined. That or atleast he's not wasting your time anymore.

You talk to him about it openly.

The fact you have a child together should make it easier.

By not talking about it openly you are just being immature. If you are old enough to have children you are old enough to communicate.
