How do I know if a halal restaurant is actually halal?

Question

Theres been so many rumours that Halal restaurants have fake certificates and i dont know who to trust anymore. And even about macdonalds and pizza hut.

Just look up for the license its close to the entrance

realy u dont know!!! ive heard alot about mcdonalds lying about halal food and like if they run out of halal then they just give u un-halal food and say that its halal....im not too sure but i would not trust them!!! i hope that this helps you. bye :)
