How do I know if he's interested?

Question

Went on 3 dates with this guy over the course of the past month. We're both in our late 20's and a little shy. He's a modest, kind and genuine person though. When I was away on vacation he sent me a text message to say hi and then another one to ask me on our 3rd date. 1st date we went bowling and out to dinner. 2nd date we watched a movie at his place. 3rd date we got lunch, brought it back to his place, watched TV, talked and played a board game. Every time before I leave, I give him a hug.

How do I know if he's interested in being more than friends? Should I just give it more time? He's somewhat shy and modest so I'm not sure if he's interested or not...and I'm too shy to initiate or ask anything....

I think you should give it a little more time and then simply ask. you definitely deserve to know what's going on so don't be scared to ask.

You can start by telling him your plans for the weekend and asking him what he thinks he'll be up to next week.
