How do I know if he really is into me or not...?

There's this really cute guy in my English class and we're directly across from each other. And I've been staring at him and then looking away. He'll look at me and smile. He's in the very back so it's kind of hard for him to glance back so he puts his head higher up and he will smile and stare at me again. I'm pretty sure he's interested but I don't know for sure because I am the only one who looks around the classroom when we're reading our book. Do you think he's interested or not? How do I know? And how do I talk to him if I don't sit near him at all? I'm really shy and from his mannerisms, he seems shy too.

he have a crash on you, you go and talk to him. he is wait for you to star. go who knows maybe he is in love with you.do not lose the opportunity

You could talk to him before class, and since your shy you could start off the convo by giving him a little compliment like "I love your shirt" or "Your hair looks great like that!" Just try a little convo starter and see where it goes! Good Luck!

duh, if he's smiling and staring he's interested =]. Looks like you guys are pretty comfortable with the eye contact. Asking him wouldn't be too hard.

He could be because I've been in that situation. However, be sure he likes you genuinely, not just the way you look.. because that's what happened to me. The boy who i thought liked me was only interested physically, nothing else. good luck.
