  1. You'll usually be losing coolant and either see white smoke from the exhaust or whitish bubbles in the oil or both.


  2. Steam out the exhaust (from water invading the cylinders) and/or oil in the coolant - depends where the leak is really.

    Overheating due to exhaust gases getting into the coolant too, as well as coolant loss.

    Also, water in the oil (milky whitish sludge) as the others mentioned.

  3. There will be white smoke coming out of your exhaust pipe,you will have less antifreeze in your radiator and reservoir,there will be antifreeze in the oil.The engine will not run as it should
