9 month old tabby cat,she keeps running away and when she comes back she's covered in fleas. We want her to be an outside cat,but she keeps running away so we can't get her spayed if she's not home. She's home now, probably not for long because as soon as the door opens she flys right out of it.I havent seen her for almost a month, but I think she is pregnant now.How can I tell if she is,befor I get her spayed?

  1. usuall if a cat gets pregnant there bellys start to expand

  2. Well, I used to have a cat named s**y, and I noticed tiny nipples were poking out of her stomach. Then I realized she was pregnant. A day after I found out she was pregnant, she came back with a big fat fluffy male cat. I cracked up. But yeah, look at her tummy. :)

  3. she is probably pregnant if she is out all the time ,i think you should really not have a cat!!!!!

  4. Wow.

You really aren't too savvy at looking after your pets, are you?

Covered in fleas? Get a simple deflea solution.

And get her spayed- this should have been done before you /allowed/ her outside.

Yes, there's a strong chance you've put what is supposed to be a pet through the uncomfortableness of pregnancy and labour.

  5. If she is over 6 months old, not fixed, and has been outside....it's a good bet that she is pregnant.  The vet can tell you for sure.

  6. "We want her to be an outside cat,but she keeps running away so we can't get her spayed if she's not home"

Not even close to being a good excuse.

Pen her up in a bathroom or someplace.  Get the carrier out of the closet or the basement.  Place cat in carrier.  Place carrier in car and drive to Vet.

I'm not even going to go into reasons she should not be an "outside" cat - I doubt you could comprehend the whole thing.
