  1. It depends on the fish. What kind of fish do you actually have? Maybe I can tell if you tell me. I'll wait for it.

    Edit:

You can see it in this link, just follow.

  2. i believe girl fish have a more V shapped tail then the boys

  3. Honestly, it depends on the type of fish. For example, male betta fish generally have long, flowing fins, while females are generally duller in color and have shorter fins. Livebearers, such as guppies, mollies, and platys, are slightly more difficult to tell, but it isn't so hard if you know what you are looking for. The anal fin of a male livebearer is pointy, while the female's hangs down like a flag. For other fish, like certain cichlids and other fish, sometimes color plays a factor in the determination of gender. In general, the brighter the color of the fish, the more likely the fish is a male. A lot of times, females are larger than males. All of this, as I said before, depends on the type of fish. For specifics, look up the fish whose gender you wish to determine to better identify your fish's gender.

  4. Young Goldfish are almost impossible to s*x. Untill they reach breeding size (4-6") there is no obvious difference.

The tail V is not an indication as goldfish have so many different tail shapes.

  5. What size tank are they in? And what kind of goldfish (feeders, oranda, ect.)
