well..if it has intestinal worms,then it loses the desire to eat or if eats it's vomiting a case in which you should take it to the vet.

The first signs would be: excessively smelly poo, laying in the water dish, refusal to eat, weight loss (not always).

THEN you'd need to get the freshest p**p sample you can to the vet along with your pet.  The vet will perform a physical and do a fecal float to check for parasites.

If the fecal comes back positive for parasites, you will be given anti-parasitics to give to your pet.
