How do I know if my television accepts digital signals?

The television I am using is in my Motorhome. I have an antena and also a cable connection.

  1. Usualy in front of your tv will say DTV if does words are not there it is analog -  but you say u have cable so The cable company will supply you with the digital channels don't worry if it doesn't support digital signals - the cable company will do this for you - know if you want you can also get a cupon fron the ntia for $40.00 buy your sel a converter box and get free local digital channels


  2. Does it give you a choice between TV and DTV on the remote? Or is it just TV and AV etc.  Most digital televisions will have a TV/DTV switch on the remote - so check for this first.  The cable connection will supply you with the digital channels though, so don't worry if it doesn't support digital signals on its own - the cable will do this for you.
