How do I know if they received my change of addresss in the IRS?

I ask here how to change the address in the IRS due of moving I got the answer but I havent received any confirmation yet. How do I find out if they did or not?

My number is 78 I read I am supposed to expect the check next week or so.

I don't think they actually send a confirmation. I don't see that stated on the website. You can probably call them.

You won't know unless you call...and with 50,000 extra impatient people calling in each day, you will be on hold for hours....

Next week sometime you should receive an IRS CP1378 Notice informing you that the Stimulus check is on the way.  If you don't receive that notice at the new address you are not likely to receive the check at the new address.  That notice tells you to wait 6 weeks before calling.  That is the time it will take for the Post Office to send your check back from the old address and the IRS to send it out again to the new address if you also informed the Post Office of a change of address.

i did a address change a i didn't receive a confimation from them so i call them and a good thing i did they still had the wrong address so i would call them to make sure.
