  1. Most of the time it is the right way, some have a line around the edge. Rest assured, if you put it in the wrong way you will be able to tell immediately. It hurts very bad if its the wrong way. Just look at the contact and see if you see a dif by looking at the front and back. My doctor just told me that when you pick it up, most of the time it is in the right direction.

    Hope that helped!!! :D

  2. If you look at them up close, you should see "123" on the side. If it's flipped, the "123" will be reversed.

If the contacts don't have that feature, look at the shape. It should look a bit floppy (to the bottom) if it's the right way. If it looks stiff and solid, then it's flipped and it will hurt when you put it in.

  3. My doctor told me if it doesn't look smooth, and bowl shaped, but flexes more like a taco shell would, then it is wrong side out.

I assume you are talking about soft lenses.

  4. If it looks like a bowl it is the right side, but if it's inside out it will look like a bowl that started to melt and somebody pressed down the edges, so it like flares out kind of. Some contacts have a really small number on them that you can read when it's the right way. Plus you will probably be able to tell if it's wrong as it will be really uncomfortable and you wont be able to see. You'll get it soon :)

  5. in the contacts i have there are 123 and if they are the right [readable] way then it's right if they are backwards 321 then they are inside out

  6. If you have Acuview they have a little AV you can read if they are the right way, if not they look like a bowl when they are right and a saucer if they are wrong. If you drop the solution in the center and it wraps around your finger tip it's probably inside out. If it feels like you have an eyelash in your eye, it is probably inside out. Those are all the tricks I know I hope they help.
