How do I know what is my SAT essay score?

It says essay and underneath its score, it says 06.

Does this mean I got a 6..

I dont think so, that essay I wrote was pretty weak.How do I find out which is my essay score (1-6)?

the way they score it is through two people who grade it out of 1-6.....so that means chances are both of them thought you deserved a three.....3+3=6 or maybe it was 2+4=6....

but it's out of twelve and it sounds like a six is what you got....

The score would be out of a possible 12 points. Therefore, the judges' scores combined add to six.

The essay is actually out of 12. But yes, it sounds like you got a 6 on it. Collegeboard.com should also have this info.

I'm pretty sure it's out of 12 because two people grade it and each marks it 1-6.
