I need nVidia 7800/ATI Radeon X1800 video card for gaming, but I don't know if I already have it or not. How do I check?

My computer is Dell Intel Pentium 2.8 GHz with 1GB of RAM.

Please let me know.

  1. Right click on your desktop and select properties. Then click on the settings tab. Look under teh picture of the monitor, it should say what display you have on which video card is installed.

  2. download siw. It's a system information for windows. it'll scan your computer inside out and give you your computer info such as CPU, RAM, GPU,

    home.halden.net/javvad/siw.exe

paste it into your web browser and hit enter. Download the file

After you're done dowloadin', open it. On the left-side bar, under 'Hard Ware', high light 'Video'

    It should be in there

                                         Good Luck

  3. go to my computer right click it go to properties then device manager and the video card is under display adapters

  4. www.download.com

    Search for BELARC

    Download it

    Run it

It will tell you what you got

  5. Go to the Dell support site & look for your model of computer, it'll tell you exactly what you have in there. However as most come with an onboard graphics chipset I very much doubt it. You could also open up the side & have a look, if there is nothing in the agp/pci-e slot then you don't have it!

  6. 1. Go to control panel> system> hardware> device manager. The video card is in display adapter section.

    2. Run> dxdiag and go to the video tab, it'll show the video card.

    3. Control Panel> Display> Setting, it'll show you.
