Question:

How do I know when I've rinsed all of the shampoo out of my hair?

I have loose, curly hair, and I have an issue with getting all of the shampoo out of it when I rinse it. I rinse for two or three minutes, running my hands through my har and trying to distribute the water everywhere, and I do the same with the conditioner, but a lot of the time I don't get the shampoo/conditioner (I'm not sure which I can't seem to rinse completley) out. Any tips? Like, how can you tell that your hair is rinsed? And how do you have to rinse it?

Thanks!!!

  1. i don't know if thes help but try doing for a long time like 4-5 min squesse your hair till you feel like tuits ready

  2. When you don't see it running through the drain anymore ..

that's really the only way i can think of, sorry.

  3. until u dont feel any shampoo on your fingers

  4. Your conditioner is designed to leave a small residue behind.  You shouldn't be rinsing that out until your hair squeaks.  If you are rinsing for that long, there is no way that your hair can have any remaining shampoo residue.  Don't rinse your conditioner that long, though.  You really want to leave a little behind to help with detangling.  After rinsing out the shampoo, rinse again with cool water.  Cool water cuts through the shampoo if there is any left.  If you really feel that there is too much conditioner left on your hair, and you feel greasy, etc, it could be that the conditioner is the wrong conditioner for you.  That is why there are a slwe of different products out there.  One size doesn't fit all.  Look for a lighter conditioner, possibly one designed for every day use.

  5. just rinse it a few min. more than you've been doing

  6. I would rinse a little longer if it doesn't feel like you've gotten all the shampoo out, make sure to bend your head forward and rise it at the nape of your neck too. And rinse with cool water afterwards.
