How do I know when it is Pacific Standard Time in my Eastern Standard Time?

On the Miley & Mandy Show, it says they are going to post their new video at 7 PM PST. And I live in NY, so I want to know when the video will be posted in my time.

pacific time is 3 hours behind eastern time.. (Ex: 5pm pacific is 8 pm eastern)

But the problem is that we are in daylight savings time now, not standard time.

7 pm there is 10 pm here. the video will be posted at 10 pm.

it's three times zones away, which means theres a three hour difference. how do I know its not 4pm? because the sun rises from the east. when its sunrise here, its still dark in California.
