How do I know where there are open calls for commercials, plays, etc. in my area? And how do I get an agent in my area? I am currently a minor and very well can't move to L.A. or NYC, but I would like to work on my resume before that time comes. So I need to know how I can get to be part of SAG and/or other groups and get my name and face out a bit and my resume built up. Please help :) I am really confused and don't know what things I need to pay for, and which these are just scams.... Thank you everyone!!!

Try; SAG.org and AFTRA.org. Actor's organizations.

Just google acting agencies.

They'll come up, and not only will you find/hire an agent, they'll personally notify you of auditions!

Just know you may have to spend a bit of cash...
