How do I label graphs in Excel with dollars on one side of the y-axis and units on the other?

  1. Assume the range of price is in A1:A10, A1 is the title "price", range of is in B1:B10, B1 is the title "units"

    1. select the range A1:B10 and click the chart button on the standard toolbar, choose the type of graph you want then click finish

    2. right click on the chart blank area choose data source, series tab, delete 1 of the 2 series, if you leave the dollar series, in the values: box put =Sheet1!$B$2:$B$10, in the Category(x) axis labels: box =Sheet1!$A$1:$A$10, click ok

    3. right click on the chart blank area choose chart option, title table, category(x) axis: put price, value(Y) axis: put units click ok button.

    Depends on which axis you want to put the price, you might need to swap the value of the boxes mentioned above.
