How do I learn how to drive?

Question

I'm 22 and I can't drive... I think I am deathly afraid of driving. I can't go faster than 20 miles an hour and can't turn or brake properly. I don't know how I can start to learn... my parents never taught me because I moved away too soon and my boyfriend doesn't want to teach me either. I don't know what to do... I'm nervous going to a driving instructor. What should I do to learn how to drive!?

i learned from them. i used to be a chicken, but now i drive on the hwy, streets, at night, no prob.

Get enrolled in a driving school that teaches not only driving but confidence as well.

First of all, get rid of all of the fear. Im sixteen, and i got my license in Jan 08. I was actually never afraid of driving but the best thing in your situation is to never be afraid. Drive freely (not too much.. lol) Stay in limits but drive freely and dont be afraid of other cars. They are not gonna hit you! The rest should be easy! Good LUCK

There's good DVD called "Rule of Road"

I don't drive, but I have watch it and it is very helpful for when you taking driver's lesson.

Go 2 any national driving lienced car learners.......... they teach us pretty perfectly.....
