How do I leave a message in the "select a quick comment"?

On some of the Y360 where it says "select a quick comment" you can't leave a long message when there isn't a second box,but I see some people have typed in messages several lines long, how do they do that?

People have the option in their settings to make comments only available for their friends and not at all for the public or they may let the public only leave a "quick comment"  like a smile or a hug . It all depends on what each person has set up for the level of viewing and or comments form the general public. So if you're trying to just leave a quick comment you just click on the drop box and highlight the comment you wish to make and then hit the post button.. If you see another box under it you may leave a few lines with your quick comment or no quick comment and just a few lines whichever is avaiable to you to use. Hope this helps you out.
