How do I let people know item has been taken in freecycle?

SIMPLE. you post that an item has been taken the exact same way that you post what you are giving or want. Click on the POST button. Then in the TOPIC write TAKEN...______ and then in the box i usually just write thanks for all the inquiries if pickup falls through i will contact the next person on my list.... GOOD LUCK keep FREECYCLING :)

Post another message to that group.  In the subject line, type "Taken:  [type in whatever your offered]"

Example:  If your offer reads "Offer:  Coffee Pot ", you would type "Taken:  Coffee Pot".
