How do I let visitors upload a file (ex. Videos Picture)?

Question

I want it so people can upload there own videos onto my site, like, it will have a blank text area then next to it it will say upload then they click it and then a popup of there documents show they click there document (from "My Videos" or "My Pictures" ect.) then it will appear then they click submitt then it gets emailed to me or something then I can use there document 9save it to my computer or something?) And put it onto my site. PLEASE HELP

You can do this by adding a PHP & MySQL application to your web site.  That's what Yahoo! told me in an email when I asked them about enabling visitors to upload images to my site. That's all I know about it.  You would have to do some surfing to find out more, or maybe someone else on Y/A has a more informative answer.

Or a much easier way, go to your manage tab, click on password manager, create new id and pw. Then, click on enable ftp access, but then BE SURE to set the access point to a pre-selected folder, ie: uploads. By setting the access point, you won't enable people to access the rest of your site via ftp client.
