How do I lift my hair in the back?

I have short hair. Every time I get it cut at the stylist's, they poof it up in the back and then bring my bangs over to the side. It is so cute. But I have no idea how they get my hair to poof like that in the back. When I wear it, it is always flat. Does anyone know how to do that?

why not ask your hairdresser to show you? A good hairdresser shouldn't mind showing you how to maintain your look between visits.

Tease it/back-comb it to add volume and get that poofy volumized look.

before you blow dry it put some root boost on your roots that will help then blow dry with a round brush then of course tease the c**p out of it with a comb.

good root boost (you dont ahev to buy them online you can get any of them at a professional salon or beauty supply store)
