My parents are trying to move (while I know they cant afford it) and are moving back and forth between states in a car that dosent have very good gas mileage. So far they are trying to sell the house, but arnt having much luck. I cant even save money seeing how everyone else is borrowing from me and I cant get a job with the possibility of us moving soon (getting hired and quiting within a week or a month dosent really good resume).

  1. You don't- how old are you? Move out. If you're not old enough to move out, I'm gonna guess you're not savvy enough to evaluate your parents' financial status.

  2. Well, your situation sucks, but I can tell you this much.  Don't put any job on your resume you were at less than a month anyway.  I'm guessing your under the age of 22 and you can answer in break in employment on your resume with, "My parents moved".  Don't worry about that part.

Go ahead and get work, and when you leave just tell them your parents are moving.  You're resume will be fine.

  3. You can't control what other people do. Thankfully, you have realized that others around you may not be making wise choices with money. Do remember that your parents are most likely doing what they think is best for their family. It is very expensive to raise kids and pay the bills. Perhaps you could put your money in a bank account, then when others ask to borrow, say that you do not have access to it. As well as when others ask for money you can tell them no. Go ahead and get  job if you like. No employer is going to fault you when you write on an application/resume that you you had to quit the job due to your parents moving.

  4. 1. Don't even TRY to give financial advice to your parents.  You could be a self made billionaire and your parents would not take your advice about money.

    2. STOP lending money TODAY.  Actually, stop GIVING money to your relatives.  We both know these are not loans because you will NEVER be paid back.

    3. Get a job anyway.  If you are not old enough to stay where you are if your parents move again, employers WILL understand.
